eHawk was one of 13 companies selected for the inaugural AWS GovTech Accelerator, focused on justice and public safety.
Lee's Summit, MO (September 19, 2023): eHawk, Inc. announced its selection to participate in the global AWS GovTech Accelerator, an Amazon Web Services program supporting startups developing solutions for government agencies.
AWS created its first GovTech Accelerator focused on justice and public safety to support technologies addressing community engagement, crime prevention, and recidivism reduction. The program combines four weeks of virtual training with in-person technical and business mentorship.
eHawk was among 13 organizations selected for the inaugural accelerator. The initiative supports eHawk's work in community corrections: lowering recidivism, improving operational efficiency, improving participant outcomes, and strengthening compliance with release conditions in pretrial and post-trial supervision.
"We're excited to work with AWS to support eHawk's efforts to expand the role of data and artificial intelligence in achieving better outcomes in criminal justice."
The accelerator provides AWS technical training, business mentorship from AWS customers and partners, computing credits, and access to government technology leaders.
"Innovation is one of our core leadership principles at AWS. That is why we launched the AWS GovTech Accelerator, to help startups innovate solutions supporting first responders, courts, emergency services, and more."
eHawk, Inc. builds RePath, a smartphone-based supervision platform for probation, parole, pretrial, and specialty court agencies. RePath is built and hosted on AWS. The company is headquartered in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
